Mark is a Principal with CB&H Wealth Management Services, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Cherry, Bekaert & Holland, L.L.P. (CB&H). Based in the Firm’s Augusta office, Mark serves as a chief financial strategist to clients who have a compelling desire to be good stewards of their most valuable assets, which extend to their families, employees and legacies.
Mark works with a limited number of individuals, couples and businesses using a consultative process we call wealth management. Wealth management consists of investment consulting, advanced planning and relationship management. Investment consulting involves constructing and monitoring portfolios to uniquely support each client’s priorities; advanced planning involves enhancing, transferring, protecting, and sharing wealth; and relationship management involves assembling and managing a team of experts to design solutions to help them achieve what is most important to them.
Mark attended the University of Georgia, and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in Finance, Real Estate and Insurance from Augusta State University in 1983. He holds the designation of Certified Estate Planning Professional.
Mark is actively involved in the Methodist Church, serving on several committees for his local congregation and traveling the area as a guest preacher. He currently chairs the Finance Committee for the Institute of Religion & Health, serves as a trustee of the United Methodist Children’s Home and the Clinton Anderson Foundation, and is an active member of the Rotary Club of Augusta and the board of directors of the United Way of the CSRA.
In addition, Mark has previously served on numerous boards including Georgia Health Decisions, a not-for-profit health issues research organization; the Augusta Ballet; Augustans Together, an organization promoting racial and ethnic harmony; the Imperial Theater; the Metro Augusta Chamber of Commerce; and the Georgia Association for Community Leadership. Mark co-hosted a weekly radio program on wealth management issues for five years and speaks frequently to professional, charitable and civic groups on wealth management. Mark is a Registered Representative with Cambridge Investment Research, Inc., member FINRA/SIPC.
